Inage Seaside Park Swimming Pool — Attraction in Chiba

If you want to experience what a day in a japanese swimming pool is, this is the best place. It's huge, with many amenities, paid seats, wave pool, access to the beach, lazy river, kids area, normal pools, extra slides for a paid upgrade. If this is your first time in a japanese pool be aware of: you'll have to take a 10 minute break when everyone does. if you want to buy some food do it before the break as queues will be huge talking about queues, be ready to queue to buy a ticket, then to enter, then to get to the locker room, then to sort out your paid seat (highly recommend as there is no shade and it gets too hot), then for the slides, then for the food... lockers need ¥400 in ¥100 coins but machines are available if you don't have the coins. ¥300 is the fee and ¥100 is returned back at the end. food is quite expensive but they take cards (VISA) included. You're not allowed to bring food from outside Japanese people use protective clothes for a reason. You'll get sunburn if you don't protect your skin. The wet clothes also helps to cope the heat There are so many rules to follow, make sure you do it(no glasses, no watch, no jewelry, in this case caps are not required surprisingly) paid seats closed at 5pm but pool open until late so you have to move and wait the 45m break if you want to stay more. there is free drinking water available but it gets too hot so bring your own flask or pay for...

Bring a tent, and floaties..go early and line up to secure a spot. It's outdoors and super hot.

There are shades with benches but people pitch tents even inside them which is unfair by those who don't bring tents. The park should ban pitching tents inside shades.

No need to wear swimming caps. Swim suits aren't mandatory.

Food trucks are available but expensive. Kinda rip-off.

There's a 10mins down time at the beginning of every hour. 11.10 etc. for pool cleaning. And they close all pools for 30 mins from 12:00 noon for lunch which is ridiculous.

Huge outdoor water park with a long lazy river, a couple of standard 25m and 50m pools, and a wave pool. Everything is included in the 2000yen admission ticket but it's slightly expensive considering it's just pools and more pools with one free water ride. There's another inflated water ride for kids that costs an additional 2000 but it's not worth it. There were a few kids hanging around there though.

Wave pool is not active all the time. Needs to wait a bit but it's fun and worth the wait. The crew threw in some freebies - be ready to jump up and catch them.

Lines were long but the entrance was swift once opened. Recommended buying tickets online in advance even though it's possible to buy at the entrance.

Good place to spend the day in...

追記（★2→★1） もう行かない！と思っていたのですが、、ママ友家族と千葉への旅行があり、プール！になり、宿泊場所にも近かった為候補に上がり2023年8月初旬の平日に再訪。混雑具合はそこそこ。 去年と比べ、改善していたりどうかなと思っていたのですが、、 結果、、やはり今度こそもう行かないですね。 ママ友たちも【これはちょっとね】でした。

以下理由。 自販機はないまま。 ペッドボトル飲料は売店とレストランで300円。やはり高い。 アナウンスで熱中症に気をつけて水分補給して下さーい！とずっと言っている割に、値段と混み具合から気軽に買えません。 そしてとにかく、去年よりも係員の数が無駄に増え、他の方も書いてあるようにとにかくずーーっとメガホンで注意注意注意。 造波プールゾーンが一番注意を受けます。 例えば休憩時間、テントに戻る為に子供が造波プール付近を歩いていた時、少しだけ青のゾーンに入ってしまいました。 すぐに、青のゾーンには入らないで！と。 白と青の部分キワを歩いていたので少しだけ入っただけです。 造波プールでも波が未発生時は浮き輪使用可の為、使っていたら少しだけ流されて奥に。すると奥行かないで！戻って！！と。 下の子は取りに行っただけなのに、、と少々機嫌が悪くなってしまいました。 こう書くと我が子がマナー違反ばかりしているように見受けられるかもですが、もちろん他の小さなお子さん等も壁際に寄り過ぎて居たりするとすぐにばっちり注意されていました。。 一番びっくりしたのが、波発生時。 前の高台？に係員の人が立っており、波のタイミングに合わせ【はい、ジャーンプ！】【ジャンプー！】 ジャンプのタイミングの声掛け。 これいりますか？もはや呆れて笑ってしまいました。 あとは貴金属類、怪我防止の為一切禁止です。 腕時計ピアスネックレス指輪、、結婚指輪も駄目なのでしょうか？笑 ずーっと貴金属外して下さいとアナウンスしています。 これは去年なかったような？ まあ実際きちんと外している方がどのくらいいたのかは不明ですが。 関東近郊のレジャープール何ヶ所か（サマラン、東武プール、大江戸温泉の浦安万華郷、ハワイアンズ、アンデルセン公園等々）行きましたがここまで貴金属類にも厳しいプールは初めてかもしれません。 しかし、裏を返せば、昨今の水の事故の多さを考えると【絶対にここでは事故を起こさないぞ！！！】という、いなプーの強い執念を感じます。 これが利用者にとって良いか悪いかは別ですが。。

2階レストランのレスポンスは長い行列の割にいいほうだと思います。 メニューは去年から少し変わっていました。 覚えている限り、肉うどん800円、醤油ラーメン800円カツカレー1200円、ナゲット6個入400円、チュロス500円（3本買った）でした。 子供2人、大人1人の昼ご飯代だけで4800円。 市運営の場所と考えると少し高いのかな？

あとは無料の空気入れ、スライダー付近にありますがとにかく並ぶし1台しかないので時間かかります。 総評ですが、次こそは行く場所として候補に上がってもやめとこう、と思いました。 入場料は良心的ですが、子連れなら別のレジャープールのほうがもっと気兼ねなく遊べると思います。 しかしながら、これは大人目線親目線での考えなので子どもたちはなんだかんだでとても楽しんでいたようでそれは良かったです。 長くなりましたが、これから行く方への参考となりますように。

以下2022年に記載したもの↓ ネットcm等でリニューアルオープンしたとのことで気になっていたこともあり、お盆終わりの16日に東京から遊びに来ました。 リニューアル前を知らないので比べようがないのですが総評としては一度行けばもういいかな、二度目は確実にないなという感想です。

当日は7歳6歳と夫婦の4人で来場。 12時半過ぎに現地に付きましたが駐車場が満車で少し離れた千葉市場？の臨時駐車場に案内されそこに駐車しました。 だいぶプールから離れており子供の足では10分程度歩くので荷物が多い方は要注意。カートがあると便利ですね。

入り口は検温とアルコール消毒。 売店ではきちんとアルコールも用意されていますが基本、従業員の方とライフセーバーの方はノーマスクです。 （余談ですが、、他の方の口コミによく書いてありますが、、ここのプールがコロナ対策されていないということ。仕方ないです（笑）プールだしほとんどの方がノーマスクなのは当たり前だし、繁忙期で混むことは分かりきっているのだし、当日券があり入場制限もやってないことを考えると、コロナを厳重警戒している人はお盆のこの時期には来ないほうがいいと思います（笑）...
