Strongly advise bringing a shade tent or beach umbrella of your own. Don’t expect crystal clear waters - it’s quite murky, and if you get close to the docks/barriers on either end, you will start to see more plastic trash in the water. But overall it was a great escape from the city for a day. Maybe bring a bag for your own mini beach clean-up while there, if you’re so inclined.
