this is by far the best zoo to take children to in Japan that I visited so far. It has lots of Hands-On exhibits, and many enclosures that you can walk around inside of with the animals. Of course, these are only with safe animals, like kangaroos and wallabies.it's large enough for all animals to seem comfortable with the amount of space they have, and there are plenty of different play and rest areas for both older and little ones. There's a park in the center of the zoo where kids can play on a slide, and it ropes course we're larger kids and adults can test their strength and endurance on a good weather day. Parking is cheap, around 600 Yen a day. It is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. I drove about an hour to get there, and we'll be doing the same again many times in the future. If you get a yearly pass, the price works out to the cost of the visits, so if you plan to go more than 3 times it's...
Read morewas only there for 20 minutes to quickly see the capybaras bathing. the baths were not on, there were 3 capybaras nothing like the reviews I’ve seen, the park was massive and hard to get around lots of walking and up and down steep roads, as we were only there for 20 minutes my opinion is a bit biased as I didn’t get to see the whole park and experience and maybe came at a bad time. I would like to come back here for a day trip so I can review this zoo more thoroughly and hopefully get the experience others have reviewed about. Also one of the food stall owners was trying to give us more food (and charge more) than we asked for because of our language barrier. we kept telling her no and she wouldn’t listen. The food was not that great but the noodles with pickled ginger were really good. I...
