Ajigaura Beach — Attraction in Hitachinaka

Really enjoyed this beach, even though there was no swimming allowed because of a shark attack the day before at another beach in the area…and, a shark was sited. So the beach was not crowded. So we focused on relaxing, beachball playing, sand castle building and wading (knee deep only). Unfortunately barbecuing is NOT allowed. But there’s yakisoba, yakiniku, drinks and shaved ice 🍧 stands. Alert and kind lifeguards. Beautiful sandy beach. Not too trashy. Public toilets and shower available but very sandy & smelly. Parking close by. For a public beach, pretty good…will definitely go again. Maybe we can...

It's our second time here at Ajigaura Beach.. watching sunrise and enjoying the summer breeze...

Parking is right in front of the beach. you can stay there as early as you can.parking is ¥1,000(8am-5pm) there are staffs collecting your parking fee... Wash area/toilet is near, and if you forget to bring food, don't worry, there are food stalls and cafes nearby.. water is deep, so be extra careful especially with kids.... Hope this...

The day I went it was really windy, and it was a very special day for married couples which is November 22nd, 2022 called "E-E-Fufu". While there by myself, because my husband wouldn't be off work until the 23rd, I found a huge hand size (top of middle finger to my wrist) heart rock💖.
