Visited on June 2nd 2019. This shrine (jinjya) is well known for the relation with the famous Japanese pair singer “Yuzu”. Local people say the pair singer hold outdoor live every year there. Besides, the design of the shrine is quite stately. And the desert the provided by the staff in the small Japanese restaurant are local and delicious. Parking lot attached. It felt like visiting a cult HQ and there were strange fanatics with looks of contented confusion on their faces. No doubt it is a beautiful place but with a unusual vibe. Nice place for a picnic. Toilet is luxurious with air conditioning inside. Looks very well funded compared to most...

The place is said to be purchased by a Japanese pop group called "Yuzu" to his mother which is member of a different cult. So Im not sure if is really a Shinto temple. Is also known as concert venue for different kind of music. The place is beautiful. Regardless whoever...

先日、山梨県北杜市にある身曾岐神社へ参拝してまいりました。神道みそぎの教えを継承するこの神社は、その荘厳な佇まいと、芸能との深いつながりで知られています。 境内に入ってまず驚かされるのは、多くの個人や企業からの奉納（ほうのう）の記録です。この奉納の記録が、この神社が持つ信仰の深さと、特別なご縁を物語っています。 鳥居の柱には、音楽ユニット「ゆず」の奉納 ゆず 北川悠仁というお名前が見えます。北川氏は当神社で挙式されたことでも有名です。 境内の奉納板には、小栗旬 殿、ウエンツ瑛士 殿といった、さまざまな分野で活躍されている著名人のお名前も確認できます。 多くの方が、本殿の金銅金具や神具などの奉納を通じて、神社への敬意と日本の文化への想いを示していることがわかります。 この本殿は、自然を教典とするいのちの信仰を伝承する古神道の本宮にふさわしい、本格的な神明造りの社です。社殿には木目美しい青森ヒバが使用され、国宝の再建などに携わったわが国屈指の宮大工たちが、3年近い歳月をかけて精魂込めて建て上げられた社殿です。簡素にして清楚なたたずまいは、参拝者の心を祓い清め、素直にさせる力を持っています。 境内の一角にある井上神社は、みそぎの教えを伝えられた井上正鐵翁との深い繋がりを示しています。 水面に浮かぶ「世界一の能楽殿」の優雅な佇まいは、まるで鳳凰が翼を広げて休んでいるようです。水面に映る舞台の姿は神秘的で、この能楽殿で行われる神前結婚式は、多くの新郎新婦の憧れの的となっています。 著名人の奉納の想い、宮大工の確かな技術、そして世界一の能舞台が織りなす荘厳な空気感に触れる、非常に貴重な参拝となりました。

幕末の国学者で神道家の井上正鐵（いのうえまさかね）を祀る神社です。 寛政2年8月4日（1790年9月12日） 、上野国館林藩士の子として江戸・日本橋で出生し、44歳の時に京都に上り白川伯王家に入門して伯家神道を修めました。 白川伯王家の神職許状を受け、天保11年（1840）に 江戸に戻り、足立郡の梅田神明宮の神職となり、布教を始めました。 天保の大飢饉の折、「我、一飯（いっぱん）を捧げて人々の飢えを救わん」と説き、救済活動を行ないました。 しかし、翌年、寺社奉行から邪教の嫌疑がかけられ牢に入れられ、三宅島に流罪となりました。 嘉永2年2月18日（1849年3月12日））三宅島で死去し、明治元年（1868）に梅田神明宮内に井上神社が創建され祀られました。 明治維新後にその思想が纏められ、正鐵を教祖とする禊教ができました。 なお、白川伯王家（しらかわはくおうけ）は花山源氏嫡流にあたる公家で、第65代花山天皇の皇孫延信王を祖とし、平安時代末より神祇伯を世襲しました。 延信王は万寿2年（1025）に源姓を賜り臣籍降下し、「白川」の呼称は13世紀中期以降から見られるようになります。 15世紀末に代々神祇官の次官を世襲していた卜部氏の吉田兼倶が吉田神道を確立して全国の神社の大部分を支配するようになり、白川家の権威は衰退してしまいました。 延宝8年（1680）ころから家伝が整理され、後に伯家神道は学問的に整備され、天保11年（1840）に平田篤胤が学頭に迎えられ近代の国家神道にも影響を残しました。
