九十九里浜七福神の「福禄寿」様がある。 玉前神社の裏手、奥にある寺院。とりわけ大きいわけでもないが、駐車場や墓地も広く木々もよく整備されており、三月は白梅や早咲きの桜を楽しめる。 この一帯は神仏習合の名残りが強いらしく二種類の七福神が同じ場所にあったり、近くに弁財堂もあったり、土着信仰の片りんなどいろいろな史跡も見られる正直いってカオスな場所。 本堂には旧堂の有名な「地獄極楽図」欄間が収められているらしいが、門扉は施錠されており、外からも垣間見る...

浜の七福神を自転車で巡りました。横芝の方からパンフレットを頼りにでした。 達成感を味わい、帰宅して祝盃、しばらくゆっくりの予定でした。しかーし、福禄寿さんの隣にいらした寿老人さんから始まる外房七福神が気になってしまいました。 調べてみたら、いすみ市と一宮町の範囲内のようなので、後日、体調を整えて、天気の良い気持ちの良い日にまた、サイクリングしようと思います。万木の方には上り坂にならないように、今度は地図をちゃんと...
