Yayoinosato Observatory — Attraction in Inakadate

On the 9th of September 2024, we were told the rice field art number one site was not in its prime and to go to the second site (this one).

For 300 yen per adult you can see the spectacular landscapes and surrounding areas as well as the historical artworks.

There is a lift, toilet and lots of parking. The photos look exactly like what you see...

Terrible. Went all the way here from Hirosaki and the tower was closed. It was one small field with a design. Not worth the trip. The local train is infrequent and there is nothing but farm land. Wasted 2.5 hours just to walk there and see nothing. Spent ¥880 on train. Maybe due to Covid there was less to see? Maybe...

I have see this before on internet and Japanese programs. But it nothing like seen it up and personal. What a creative way using technology to bring out art with plants and rock. I think you will find it fascinating just...
