Now the corona age has quietened down, this beach is pretty quiet. If you come early you can park in the free parking area, walk down the beach party the river where there are stones in the sea, and set up a tent there by the waves for some bodyboarding or surfing. The coast road nearby is terrible for pollution, but the air comes off the sea and blows it away from the...

Beautiful beach that’s about 10 min south of Ajiro. The beach stretches for more than a mile and is much less crowded than Atami. No shower I’m but has a place with fresh water where you can clean...

今は江戸城の築城石と大室山や小室山に並ぶ火山であった巣雲山ハイキングが好きな方の中では有名なのかもしれません。 「巣雲の山は雲青く　宇佐美の浜は砂白し」 地元の小学校歌の冒頭にある歌詞。 「砂白し」と言っても、人工の熱海サンビーチや下田の白浜とは違いますが、自然の砂浜で白い砂が混じって茶色く見えます。波打ち際の表面には、白い砂が波紋を見せてくれます。 かつての夏は道路沿いにズラーっと並んだ3階建てが特徴の海の家。 多分、その頃にアニマル浜口さん御一家が来られていたのだろうと思います。 今は一軒もありません。 しかし、昔からサーファーの多いところで、都心部から西へ向かったときに波がある近くの海岸は吉浜か宇佐美の浜になります。 浜のある田舎にのんびりしたい時には、多分ここが1番人混みがない穴場だと思います。 浜の近くの宿泊施設を利用するのがおすすめです。 名物はシラスですが、とれる時ととれない時もありますし、禁漁期間もあります。 よって、シラス店さんに問い合わせしてください。 多分シラスのお店に行くと、駿河湾や湘南側のシラスに比べてびっくりするくらいお得な値段で買えます。ポイントはヒモノ屋さんではなく、シラス屋さんです。
