Nice little hotel with amazing views! After an awkward check-in with the receptionist, I was shown to the 3 onsen (2 semi outdoor with either sea or mountain view), the areas for free soft and alcoholic drinks but not the pool (probably closed).

I didn’t realise the breakfast was brought to the room so it was a nice surprise just as a was about to go and ask where I could get breakfast. First one is western style and for the next day I had the option for Japanese style breakfast. Both were quite generous in portions. The couple (maybe owners?) that brought them were super sweet and attentive, explaining the Japanese breakfast with a bit of English.

My only complain would be the instructions for access, it’ll be nice to include them in their website as Google maps gives the wrong directions, taking you to a dead-end super steep little road. A asked a lady how to get to the hotel and she recommended going around as a car would but mentioned it’d be a long walk. She mentioned there was a shortcut (we were standing by the beach looking at the hotel a few hundred meters away) but she didn’t know well. Luckily I checked google reviews and saw instructions on one of the reviews and manage to get there in 5min. Be aware this walk and stairs are...

We had an absolutely wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. Though it wasn’t fully booked, it had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated the thoughtful upgrade and all the lovely details that highlighted our experience—from the various onsen options to the complimentary bar and excellent coffee.

Our room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was exquisite—I slept better than I have in a long time!

So far, this has been the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Japan, even compared to the big chains. If you’re visiting the region, this place is absolutely worth it!

And again thank you for the umbrella! Greetings from...

Great Hotel to enjoy a beautiful sea view. Very very lovely and helpful gentleman at front desk. Although he did not speak much English, we managed with our phones, and he was very dedicated to helping me (e.g. moving my car in the steep lot, following up with dinner order). The private semi outdoor bath was really nice to use after a day of hiking and exploring. The hotel isn't walking distance from any major sites or interesting restaurants but makes for relaxing evenings. Big comfortable bed, extremely spacious room, sunrise views. I didn't like the steep hotel parking (although I was helped!), and I'd say you cannot expect someone being at the front desk at all times of...

Owner is extra kind and attentive.Thank you very much for wonderful welcome and so unexpectedly early check in! This western style hotel has magnificent view overlooking all the bay, and lovely swimming pool with tasteful furniture. Hot bath and all amenities are great and very clean. Access to the beach takes about 10 minutes by some steep stairs - it is quite and peaceful beach favoured by surfers - as not many stones there, just dark volcanic sand. Only suggestion would be giving guests option to make their stay more eco conscious-considerate.No need to change bedding and tooth brush each day-unless the person has problems and requires it.
