Uchina Farm — Attraction in Itoman

Uchina Farm & Winery was fun with about 20 different animals to see; from horses, zebras, goats, kangaroos, bunnies, pigs and others. There is a cold refreshments shop with delicious ice cream, a small restaurant and the winery. Our 3 year old daughter did the pony ride for 500 yen and she enjoyed it. The winery gift shop lets you sample their 4 wines they produce their and sells a few other wines as well. Yen only for entrance and the refreshment shop. The gift and winery shop accepts credit card. The illumination shows are here too...

When I first visited this place, hadn't been in operation for very long. The staff were friendly and polite and, photography was permitted, throughout the facilities. It seemed like, it would be a good place, for families, with children, to visit. Strollers or wheelchairs have easy access as paved walkways are available. Signs and brochures in English and, other languages, would make the attraction, more interesting and, a boom...

We visited the farm during the Christmas lighting festival where they decorated the whole place with a few millions Christmas lights. There was a cool festival area with games and food and the rest was beautifully lit and decorated with many lights.
