The little peninsula that this little beach is on is packed with things to do. The beach itself is nice. Come summer there are more amenities and it gets crowded. Best to bring shade, high summer in Japan is a broiler, you will get cooked. The water is warm and clean but come late July the jellyfish start to appear and while not the super poisonous kind, the sting isn't fun...and you will get stung if you take a swim. Good for relaxing, seeing beautiful sunset, etc. Campsite nearby was closed due to pandemic but hiking trail to the peak of Mt. Tateishi is still open to the public. Saw some hikers going to and fro from the hiking trail's...
