Marutaike Park — Attraction in Itoshima

Here as in many other parks and roads in Itoshima city trees have been felled and concreted over. This city is on a war against trees wherever they can find them. Playground are mostly treeless now, and on top of that this city puts stone hard sand where kids should Play so if they fall they get injured. Everything that’s green gets the chop and trees that could give some much appreciated shade are cut down. It’s a disaster. The pro next to the city hall is also scheduled to make way to a new Cityhall with many old trees cut. You can bet the city will make a little Playground for kids with no trees and no green and a sto hard...

It's like a mini-version of Ohori Park, and is very well-maintained and family friendly. There's lots of space for kids to run around, and a corner with exercise bars and stuff to get those muscles 💪 buff and ready for the laaaaaydies...
