鶴仙渓(かくせんけい)。山中(やまなか)温泉にある景勝地。石川県の観光に関わるネット記事にも多く紹介されている。こおろぎ橋やあやとりはし、無限庵(むげんあん)や遊歩道などのネットで見た写真が魅力的で、いつか行ってみたいと思っていた。 2021年9月の半ば、コロナ禍ではあったが、ようやく訪れる機会に恵まれた。あいにく自分が行ったときは、無限庵は営業していなかった(コロナ対応で、予約すると見学ができたらしい)が、鶴仙渓遊歩道を歩き、観光気分を満喫してきた。遊歩道は「全長1.3㎞」と、遊歩道の途中にあった「川床(かわどこ)」というお茶屋さんでもらったパンフレットに書いてあった。自分が歩いたのはこおろぎ橋からあやとりはしまでだったので、多分700mほどか。こおろぎ橋の脇にある、遊歩道に下りていく坂道を一歩一歩、歩いて行くと、大聖寺川からの涼しい風が吹いてきてとても心地よい。川沿いの遊歩道に着くと川の流れの音が、これまた気持ち良い。ずっとここにいたいという気持ちになってくる。周囲を見渡すと苔に覆われた地面や岩、木などが「トトロの森」のような雰囲気に包まれる。あやとりはしに向かって、ゆっくりと歩き出す。左には、大きなホテルの建物が見える。あそこに宿泊して部屋や露天風呂(そんなものがあるのかどうか知らないが)から、この渓谷を見渡したら、さぞ絶景だろうと容易に推察できる。苔の道をゆっくり歩いた。20～30分くらい歩いていたら、川面(かわも)に何か赤い色が見えたので、あやとりはしかと思ったら、お茶屋さんの「川床(かわどこ)」だった。ここでは、山中出身の道場六三郎さんのスイーツを食べられる。「川床セット」が600円(当時)。お客さんで満席だった。川床のすぐわきには、小さな滝が流れ落ちていた。このままずっとここで何も考えずにボーっとしていたい気持ちになる。ここは日常を離れた桃源郷そのもの。少し歩を進めるとあやとりはしが見え、右手に上る石階段があった。あやとりはしは、微妙に左右に曲がっているデザインで、先ほどの川床が橋の上から見えた。極上の景勝地が堪能できる。

2021年11月、紅葉は色づき始めという情報で行ってみました。私はいつも大阪から旅行社のフリーツアー2泊3日の中日を観光に使ってゆっくり周るパターンであちこち行っています。情報通りなかなかいい感じに紅葉していました。旅館が送迎してくれたのでまず総湯菊の湯でお風呂をいただき、そこからこおろぎ橋へウオーキングで！令和元年に新橋に付け替えられたそうで以前行った時とは違ってお色が綺麗。情緒は前の方が好きだけど、これだってそのうちいい感じに古くなることでしょう。そこからあやとり橋まで鶴仙渓遊歩道をウオーキングです。綺麗な水流と苔むす石や木橋を越えてのんびりと歩けますよ。マイナスイオン浴びて森林浴ですから健康にも良いはず。あやとり橋手前には鶴仙渓の川床も開いていてお茶している方々もいらっしゃいます。お一人600円のお席代でお抹茶付いているようですね。この雰囲気ですからお安いかもです。あやとり橋は幾何学的でお色が素敵なワイン色？渡りながら紅葉を愛でるってめっちゃ素敵で癒されます。この時期に来れてよかったなあと思いました。ここは桜も綺麗らしいですね。次回機会あれば桜の時期に来てみたいです。
