久しぶりに鹿児島に行って磯庭園を見ていたらロープウエイが無くなっていました。 子供の頃はここからロープウエイで磯山公園まで上がるのが楽しみでした。 ロープウエイから見る桜島は城山からとはまた違った景観でとても素晴らしかったです。 眼下に磯御殿が見えてとても良かった記憶があります。 磯山公園の記憶がほとんど無くロープウエイに乗った記憶ばかりですがとても楽しい思い出なので磯山公園も良いところだったと思います。 ロープウエイ乗り場の近くにあった売店でスコールを買って飲むのも鹿児島...

昔はよく花見に訪れたものです。園内だけでなく駐車場の桜もきれいでした。また、磯庭園（現在は仙巌園）とロープウェイが繋がったおり、行き来もできました。磯庭園は見る場所、磯山遊園地は名の通り遊ぶ場所だったような。 1993年（平成5年）の「8.6水害」でロープウェイが運休し、再開することもがなく、その後廃止されました。磯山遊園地自体は、しばらくは営業してましたが、いつの間にか閉園していたと思いきや、現在は磯山公園となっており、毎年お花見の期間のみ有料公...
