This fall is technically within the Amagiso public bathing area so if you want to see the entire length you have to use the baths. You can see the fall itself from the entrance to the baths. The old lady manning the station is lovely. If no one is using the baths and you ask her nicely (no one here speaks English), she may allow you into the first area where the changing rooms are to see the fall up close.

An incredible, gorgeous waterfall. And the area around it is so lush and peaceful. We didn’t bring our swimsuits, but it looked like a lot of fun to swim in the pools near the water with the waterfall in the background. If we went back, I’d make mean effort to swim for sure.

Really a perfect place in summer to swim in a natural waterfall in the middle of mountains and wood. With this heat, the cold water of the source was amazing and you have onsen if you prefer to stay in 40°C 🤓 Of course a car is really recommended to access at this place.
