Nanpei Children’s Traffic Park — Attraction in Kawaguchi

We went to a bakery nearby and ended up here for the afternoon with our toddler. A great little traffic playground! There are toys you can rent out on Saturdays, and on Sundays it seems there is a larger selection of bicycles, battery cars, etc. The rental shop is closed between 12-1pm. A staff member was helping children build paper crafts when we went. There is a playground with some slides, swings (child and infant ones), two sandpits (one with a slide into it!), a big climbing frame, and plenty of space to run around, with a designated cycling/traffic area. The playground area is enclosed for those with little ones. For a little local park, there’s a lot on offer here. There is parallel parking on the side of the road - no parking charges. Lots of benches to sit down on. All the children around us were friendly and courteous - except the smoking skateboarders playing their rap music, but at least they kept to themselves. 普通の公園と違って、交通ルールを勉強でき、自転車の走行練習もできる珍しい公園。警察が近くの幼稚園で交通ルールを教える際にも使うことがある。トイレはあるが、事務員が居ないと開かないので、曜日に注意すること。砂場やアスレチックもあるが、スペースは小さい。日曜午前はバッテリーカー、午後はおもしろ自転車がどちらも無料で乗れる。また、毎月数回、プレイリーダー（ボランティア）による無料参加の工作など、その時によって行うことは変わるが、子どもたちは楽しそうです。事務所２F（階段登って出入り口付近）におもちゃの貸出あり。１Fは竹馬など大型のものが自由に借りられるがちゃんと返すこと。スケボとかNGだけど夜中練習に来る人がいるし、園内の周遊できる舗装路はウォーキングする人で人気なので、昼...

入谷大橋近くにある川口市の交通公園です。 中くらいのスペースの公園で、中央で変わり種自転車を貸し出してくれます。見た事のないような形状の自転車もあり、大人がみてもワクワクすると思います(大人は乗れません)。1回の試乗時間は約5分というルールがあるので、ルールを守って仲良く利用しましょう。 道路や信号などが設置されてるので子供に交通ルールを知ってもらうこともできます。ただ自分が行った時に信号は消灯状態だったので、点灯する時間がかなり限られてるのかもしれません。 駐車場も5台くらいな停めら...
