I visited Kawajima Heisei no mori Park rose tunnel on June 20th 2025. It’s next to Kawajima city hall. Although it was late, some roses were blooming nicely. Hydrangeas and irises were beautiful, too. All roses here are from Keisei Rose, which are beautiful and strong. Keisei Rose cultivates their own roses which are suitable for Japanese climate. The park claims that it has the longest rose tunnel in Japan. Next year, I should visit this place again...
Read moreReally good park to visit except that it is not as accessible to commuters. Take bus #4 at bus stop 4 to the left of Honkawagoe eki. When you exit the main gate, turn right and walk to the left. There’s an almost half an hour walk to the park. It’s quite scenic but if walking is not your thing, it’s a bit tiresome lol.
