Smile Cafe 1/2 — Restaurant in Kawajima

Just past the playground towards the parking lot, you will see some row of 3 or so house-like structures/one-floor-buildings. The first on the left is this cafe. We tried the lunch set and it was good in that the portions and quantity are filling and it comes with a drink. We had to wait quite a bit when we were paying the bill and we were running after the bus which is 24 minutes away on foot and leaves only every hour or so, so it would have been okay to wait otherwise but not when the conditions are like this. 川島町役場の敷地内にあるカフェです。 平成の森公園の外周にある散歩コースからも、小さな橋を渡ると入ることができます。 営業日は火曜から土曜日で、営業時間は11時から15時までです。 営業時間が短いので、昼時には満席になることもあるようです。

メニューは日替わりのランチプレートや、ボロネーゼなどのパスタ、オムハヤシや季節野菜のカレーライスなど。 デザートにはシフォンケーキやバニラアイスなどがあります。 食事にはドリンクが付くので、コーヒーやジュースなどから選ぶことが出来ます。

平日のランチに1歳の子どもと祖母と3人で来店しました。

初めてだったのでベビーカーで来店してしまい入れるか不安でしたが、 席の横に置けるぐらいゆとりのある席数でした。子ども用の椅子、食器もお借りすることができました。
