I love this recreation center and beach. The beach is absolutely beautiful and well kept. The grass areas are mowed and there are pretty garden areas. There is a lot of parking. The amenities make coming to the beach easier and more comfortable because there are bathrooms, a shower room, vending machines, picnic area with and without shade plus a beach shop where you can rent a lot of things. You can rent chairs, umbrellas, equipment for water activities and even jet skies. Most weekend days there’s a food truck available and there are plenty of vending machines selling water, ice cream and an array of drinks. I love that there is fun beach music playing and dogs are allowed on leash. The fact that there is a lifeguard to call and a netted swimming area makes me feel safer in the water. We celebrated the New Year tradition of watching the sunrise and it was wonderful to see people out celebrating and enjoying the food trucks that were there. It’s also a great spot to have morning walks out since there is a nice paved walkway. The downside to this location is that there is a small net area for swimming by the life guards. No snorkeling or swimming is allowed outside this very small and rather shallow spot. Recently I saw signs that they started charging for parking but I wasn’t enforced the last time I went. If they are charging for parking that would be a shame. I really wish they weren’t so strict about the swimming. This big sandy beach is practically unused because there’s only one area you’re allowed to access the water. Originally I thought that area was for children and wasn’t happy that as an adult I wasn’t allowed to swim at my own risk on the other side of the beach.

Emerald and crystal clear water! there are lifeguards who keep the beach safe. the sea is protected by nets, since in the sea there could be jellyfish, rock fish and other not so pleasant creatures. in the structure there are bathrooms with showers and an information center. large paid parking lots. in my opinion it is worth passing by here and spending some time here! would I go back? absolutely yes!!

Beautiful beach! Netted area for swimming, but I believe it’s closed during the winter months. Plenty of picnic tables (covered) and a few vending machines. Clean bathrooms and shower, and a foot washing station. There are some beautiful rocks off to the right of the jetty, perfect for exploring when the tide is out. Definitely recommend some good shoes like felt bottoms. Fun “I love Kin” sign too!

We spend few hours in this nice beach on our way to Yomitan. The facility is brand new, established in 2022. The beach is fine sandy with beds and umbrella for rent. Plenty of activities for kids and teenagers: beach volley, beach soccer. There is a shop, coins showers and public toilets. In addition, the beach is lifeguarded. The only limitation, coming from Europe, is that the swimming area is restricted to a very narrow space limited by a net. I asked if possible to swim out of the net but they were very inflexible. This is a pity because this bay is stunning but we complied with the regulations. Really...

Beach is sectioned off so swimming is only allowed in a tiny fraction. One of the staff drove across the entire beach to tell us we couldn't swim in that area even though the signs said swimming is only restricted from November to April. One year ago, this beach had exercise equipment, free showers, and you could swim anywhere. Now the showers are paid, snorkeling is not allowed, no exercise equipment, and only a small area for swimming that only goes 5 feet deep....
