Nice peaceful area that has a boardwalk trek, playground area, a few places to eat, some shops, and bathrooms. Things to know: it is 400Y for adults and 200Y for children to walk the boardwalk. To me, this was overpriced as it is a half mile trek on the actual boardwalk and if you do the Loop it is along the road. It would have been nice to have some kind of check off sheet for the different animals we saw- like a scavenger hunt for the kids. They did have a sheet in English but it only gave us names of the animals. There were picture boards along the boardwalk with QR codes to scan for information but the internet reception was not very good. Maybe for a Japanese phone it would be better. Also- we brought our dog - and were told as we started walking by a man who chased us down no dogs are allowed, which was a bummer. We did see a lot of crabs, as we visited...

I love coming to the mangroves to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the place. There are mangrove trees with interesting roots and boardwalks to get a closer look. As you walk around you can admire the farms, birds and other wild life all around. If you walk far enough you can find a spot to rent kayaks and some of the oaths have stairs leading all the way into the water if you have your own. The path is great for strollers, bikes and walks. There’s a parking lot near the dam and at the entrance of the park. There are bathrooms at the parking lot near the dam & a picnic area with some shade spots. It’s a very clean area and hopefully all who visit will keep...

Parked at Nature Mirai, then walked all along the Okukubi River mangrove trail all the way up to Kin Dam and back. Lovely walk, lots of interesting wildlife such as birds and crabs. There is an information board to tell you what wild life to look out for. I recommend this walk if you are in the area and have an hour...

I love walking through the mangroves. Kid friendly. There is also the option of a water buffalo cart ride, or kayaking. If you're looking for a scenic place to run you can start at the Kin dam and run to here and back. It's about 3-4K depending on which route you take.
