Takatôyama Park — Attraction in Kitakyushu

The observatory offers a stunning night view overlooking Kitakyushu's west side, with the crimson Wakato-Ohashi Bridge particularly striking.

The climb to the summit is not difficult, but some sections of the road are unlit at night, so please be careful.

Takatôyama Park is a famous park in Kitakyushu known for its beautiful hydrangeas. The park is located on top of a hill and offers a picturesque view of thousands of hydrangeas during June. The hillside covered with hydrangeas is breathtaking and definitely worth the visit. However, please note that there is no public transportation that goes directly to the park. The nearest train station is Wakamatsu and it requires around 30 minutes walk...

I grew up here as my backyard, ha, ha... Amazing views which we can enjoy day and night time from the viewing terrace. Enjoy the great view of Kitakyushu City and the "Wakato Bridge". You may try to find and look at the "Kanmon Bridge" on a clear sky day.
