毘沙門沼から乾いたじゃりじゃりの道を歩くと見えてきます。想像するほどの赤さではないですが、沼の淵がほんのり言われれば赤？茶色？かな？といった感じです。10月下旬に行きましたが、少しずつ紅葉も進み、沼とのコントラストがきれいです。紅葉は12時前後が一番きれいと言われていますが、この沼もそうですね。ほんとうに、きれいでした。でも、道は大きめの尖った岩がちょこちょこ顔を出しているので、沼ばかり見て歩いている...

昨年2023年5月10日（水）に撮影。某解説：福島県郡山市にある五色沼湖沼群の1つです。名前は赤沼ですが、湖面の色は青緑色です。湖底の土が赤茶色であるため、名前が付いたと言われています。赤沼は、五色沼 nature trail の中間に位置し、遊歩道が整備されています。遊歩道の全長は約30分で、木道や階段が整備されています。遊歩道は滑りやすいので、足元に注意してください。熊などの野生動物が生息しているため、注意が必要です。五色沼湖沼群には、赤沼以外にも様々な沼があります。毘沙門沼、みどろ沼、竜沼、弁天沼、るり沼、青沼、柳沼などがあります。
