Ryūga Pond's Observation Deck — Attraction in Kofu

My lovely route for morning run. You can see kofu city, mount fuji, and takeda shrine from here. This is a small dam that the reservoir used for irrigation. Very good example for civil engineering work in water resource and it is very near.

You can use the ladder although it is more than 10 meters high to get to the top of the small dam. Or you can walk lilttle further along the road to get short ladder on the other side...

武田神社の脇道からあるのは、史跡公園と結構な高低差がある池。立ち寄りに迷いましたが、登って良かったと思える位の見晴らし出来る場所でした。 中段右側に山道につながる橋から見える南アルプスもとても良いですよ。 甲府の盆地が見渡せ、近場に車を駐車出来る様です。夜景も確かにきれいに見渡せると思います。 最短の階段は勾配が有るので足下にご注意下さい。

※最短ルート以外のルートでも登れます。少し歩きますが、緩い坂です。道路そのまま進み右側に短い階段があり、そちらを利用すれば龍華池を左に来た方向へ進め...
