first time hiking in winter, it was great. even though there is snow, it is not that cold, except the top (i was shivering). most parts of the road are slippery. if you have normal winter boots, you can have fun sliding but fall a lot at the same time. recommend to get snow studs. Dec 30th, 2024. Mt.Kuju 10:30-16:30 (~6hr roundway).

Trailhead to climb Mount Kuju. Plenty of parking space. We reached at 10am on Monday in June. No problem finding a lot. The trail up takes about 5 hrs return. There is a restaurant, a cafe and a shop by the parking lot.

beautiful scene if u do a short hike up. went in Jan and you definitely need snow boots and make sure you have snow tires. there is no one else there. so peaceful and majestic.

Trailhead to climb Mount Kuju. Plenty of parking space. We reached at 10am on Monday in June. No problem finding a lot. The trail up takes about 5 hrs return. There is a restaurant, a cafe and a shop by the parking lot.
