行列のできる鯛焼き屋さんの向かいにあります。お寺の駐車場は、「藤戸寺」と刻まれた石柱のあたりに３か所確認できました。 本堂、弘法大師のお堂、不動明王のお堂が３つ並んでいます。香炉と燭台がありましたので、線香とろうそくをあげましました。不動明王のお堂から一段下がった位置に、左手に宝珠をもった、頭が体に対してたいへん大きな、石造りのお地蔵さまがいらっしゃいました。 参拝したのち、向かいのお店で鯛焼きをもとめました。２０１８年１１月訪問。

源平の戦いに導かれ、訪れました。道沿いに駐車場があり、便利でした。こちらに設置してある地図が分かりやすくて良かったです。 沙羅双樹の大きな木があると聞いていたので探しましたが、雨予報からのボタ雪が降り続くので探索は切り上げました。 佐々木盛綱橋からも見えるお地蔵様の後ろ辺りから橋の方を眺め、昔の地形などを想像し。感慨深かったです。

歴史を感じられる場所です。 静かに1人心を落ち着けたい時によいのではないでしょうか。 小さい時に祖父と祖母に弘法さまの時に連れて行ってもらった記憶があります。 駐車場と臨時駐車場があり車７〜8台は駐車できそうです。
