Grand Staircase — Attraction in Kyoto

Incredible staircase and beautiful walking paths with trees and bamboo around the area. My friends and I arrived around 9/10am and stayed in the Fushimi-Momoyama area until midday. We were the only tourists. It was a wonderful relief from the busy tourist spots but just as incredible as those popular must see areas. It’s a short walk to Fushimi-Momoyama where you can find great and cheap ramen and beer! The grand staircase was very nice and well maintaned. It is very actively used and you can see many locals exercising around it.
