I would think Myojin Pond 明神池 is at it's prettiest at early morning with the soft and warm sunlight and calm weather. If you are lucky enough like me you will see perfect reflection on both ponds, plus there are very few tourist. I Visted at 6-7am, 28/4/23. But to be there so early one has to stay in one of the nearby lodge (e.g. 明神館, or like me in Tokusawa-en and set off at 5am to catch the first sunlight at Myojin bridge and pond) (Also attached are some photos of Myojin Bridge at early morning)

If you visit Kamikochi in the first time and love basic hike, this place would be good for you. From Kappa bridge, it takes more than 6-7 km to reach here. Try to plan for morning or late afternoon. It gets dark around 4.30pm in autumn time. Paid entrance fee to visit this place.

Gorgeous at 9am, definitely even more beautiful earlier in the morning with the morning light and mist! There is a cafe and a restaurant nearby to grab breakfast too. JPY500 entrance fee

上高地の奥の穂高神社奥宮境内にあり、神域となっている。 なお、「かみこうち（現在の漢字表記は「上高地」だが、本来は「神垣内」）」の地名は、穂高神社とその祭神である穂高見命（ほたかみのみこと）の地であることに由来する。 パワースポットです。 交通拠点となる上高地バスターミナルから徒歩でおよそ50分かかる。 梓川右岸の標高約1,425 mに位置する。池はひょうたん型で一の池と二の池に分かれており、湖面へ映る木々が美しい。 神秘的な感覚が味わえ、散策にはもってこいである。池ではイワナ、マガモ、オシドリなどが見られる。 明神岳で土砂崩れが起き、梓川支流の沢がふさがれてできた。かつては三の池もあったが、土砂災害により消えてしまった。神社内の池であるので拝観料300円がかかる。 毎年10月8日に例大祭である、御船神事が開催される。すぐ南には上條嘉門次のレリーフが設置されている。周辺には多数の宿泊施設がある。
