What an amazing experience to be so close to a crater of an active volcano, which is pushing out Sulphur clouds continuously. Do beware of the strong odur of Sulphur, some people may experience discomfort.
The day we went was beautiful sunshine but it was very cold the time we were there only 1 degree. We could also experience snow on top of Mount Aso which was a real treat.
Do be aware that it is all about timing when visiting the crater, and weather conditions but if you time it right it's an overwhelming experience.
It's amazing to see the most active volcano up so close. It's like being in another world, nothing grows, desertless and serial. Great experience for any volcano lovers.
