Mt. Aso crater evacuation shelter — Attraction in Minamiaso

Fascinating view. We were lucky. When we first arrived, zone B was red so couldn’t go in. Had to see crater from zone C (could only seen smoke). But while we were there, zone B opened up so we could go in and see crater 2. While we were watching, smoke intensified, all of us got cough and teary eyes from the smoke. What an experience! Reminds me of poison gas used in WWI. Anyway, we quickly evacuated as zone B...

Do take note of the volcanic activity on their website before coming, if there are toxic emissions the area...

聽著朋友的建議,好天氣的時候一定要去火山口看看! 畢竟不是每天都開放的!! 所以我們就來了XD

很幸運的~ 我們遇到的是開放的狀態, 沿著298縣道會走到噴煙展望公園,這裡標註有料道路,再往前開一點會到收費處,小型車收費1000日圓, 接著沿火山口道路往上開會抵達一個大型停車場,火山口避難休息所就在此處了!

附近蓋了很多小型碉堡,猜測是真的遇到火山噴發還可以暫時避難,沿著周邊步道可以展望旁邊大草原景致和火山口, 旁邊還有一處小神社可以求籤,...
