Yaironomori Park — Attraction in Minamiuonuma

One of the best parks in the area. A giant stage provides shade in summer and is a popular place to set up base for the day. There is a big pond and a few streams flowing around. The bbq area has brick BBQs which can be reserved as well as a sink for washing. There are a selection of different climbing frames for kids and some trampoline-like bouncy cushions. There are also a few giant balls around which kids can borrow and play with. Masses of space to run around and tire out little legs. There is an interesting little museum in the far corner. The winery is just over the road for wine tasting or a delicious lunch, and the Yummy gelato shop is a short walk away if cold refreshments...
