This is one of the biggest lakes that can be found in Ibaraki. It is located next to Mito Station. It has nice view of lake good for picnics and other events. We visited here to watch the Hanabi Festival. Many food stalls are placed and people are coming to join the special event. Some are wearing Kimono while having their place for picnic. Then, we waited until sunset and the big event had started at exactly 7:30pm with 12,000 fireworks incorporated with nice music. It was so fun

トイレが臭い汚い最悪。 「日本重要湿地」と掲示しアピールしていますが、利用面でのトイレの設備と環境は最悪です。県庁所在地の主要観光地なのだから経費削減見えみえの設備はやめた方が良いですよ。SL機関車が置いてある方のトイレは新し目ですが、男子トイレで大便用トイレが1つしかないのはどうかと思います。イベントなど隣の広場でやることも加味すれば最低でも3つはないと。少便器も今の2倍は必要でしょう。 東側のトイレは最悪です、、、

どちらにしろ千波湖のトイレは設備が不十分な上、臭くて汚いです。なぜ自動洗浄にしないのでしょうか、自動で流されない為臭いがすごくて不衛生です。照明も東側トイレは陽が沈んだ頃にならないと点かないので真っ暗です。 天井周りには蜘蛛の巣や埃が常時あり、壁には落書きがいつまでも消さずに残っています。 とても県庁所在地の観光地とは思えない美化意識です。 こういうところから魅力度ワースト1位という不名誉な烙印が見えてきます。しっかりと設備整えて美化を維持してください。 観光者やイベント参加者、ランナーと利用者は多くいます。 至...
