Recommended - this old couple spent a pleasant 2 hours there - paid ~1540Y for two including the Planetarium show - lean back seats (sore bum after 50 minute show) in Japanese we didn't understand, but I liked the wow ending showing our place in the universe. The place is indeed very enjoyable for kids, but adults will be able to enjoy as well. There’s a horror house and a VR for the aurora borealis that adults would be able to appreciate. You can also ride the replica of the Gemini capsule; just call for a staff. The entrance is 550 yen. There is some wait time for stuff but it’s not too long. Good way to...

Es gibt dabei 2 Stockwerke voller Experimente und Dinge, die ausprobiert und entdeckt werden können - daher würde ich es insbesondere Familien mit Kindern empfehlen (oft viel los und laut). Die englische Sprache ist (leider wie so oft) sehr zufällig gewählt, d.h, dass ca. 70 % auf Japanisch und nur 30 % auch auf Englisch geschildert ist. Es gibt zwar eine App, mit der man sich unterschiedliche Stationen erklären lassen kann, diese ist jedoch gut gemeint aber weniger gut gemacht. Nicht verpassen sollte man eine Show im Planetarium (nur in japanischer Sprache); die sich dennoch auch für ausländische Touristen lohnt. Gleich nebenan ist noch ein Park und das Science Scenter ist leicht mit dem Zug zu erreichen. Alles in allem Ok und für neugierige Kids den Eintritt wert.
