We had a fantastic stay at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Amanohashidate! From the very beginning, we felt incredibly welcomed. Yasuko, the front desk agent, sent us a detailed email beforehand with instructions and thoughtful recommendations for nearby restaurants and roadside-station shops. This was so helpful, especially since we were initially concerned about finding dinner and breakfast options in the area. Thanks to her suggestions, we enjoyed some surprisingly good meals! At check-in, the staff were proactive, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The room itself was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The peaceful and quiet surroundings added to the overall charm. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and great service. If we visit Amanohashidate again, we’ll definitely choose to stay here! Highly recommend!

This is a Fairfield. If you understand that then it’ll meet all your expectations. No elite members lounge of course but they have a lounge area for everyone with free tea, coffee, and even an oven and microwave. They’re opened for one year already but place looks spotless. Bigger than pretty much all 3 star hotels. They have a large sofa in every room which many Fairfield’s don’t usually have which is a big plus. No on site restaurant but there are many places nearby. Staff members didn’t speak English but it wasn’t really necessary as they sent a pre-arrival email with recommendations around the property. Very friendly as well. Oh and free parking.

First and foremost I would like to compliment the front desk for being so cheery and ready to assist at any point of the day! Sure does live up to Marriott's branding afterall. However, with that being said everything was ok but for the price of the stay i only did wish there was a restaurant or a service bar. If I had to add something else I didn't like would be the "hangout area/ lobby" where patrons are seated and chilling, don't mean to be rude, but, while I was there, those people were really noisy. Parking and location of the hotel is extremely accessible, clean and spacious rooms, washing machine and dryers are available (paid through an app).

Extremely pleasant experience at this hotel. Rooms were clean and aesthetically pleasing. Bed was really comfortable to sleep in. Staff was friendly, welcoming and kind. Did his best to speak to me in English and helped me with any queries I had about the area. Location is convenient for anyone looking to go to Ine or Amanohashidate as the Tankai Bus Stop is right opposite the hotel. Expressway Bus from/to Osaka or Kyoto are also directly in front of the hotel. The hotel staff also provided us with a restaurant guide of the area and a cute and detailed hand-drawn map. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area! Would definitely come again.

The location is not the most popular but there is a big supermarket on the opposite side of the street called Mipple — they sell stuff in a way cheaper price comparing to supermarkets in Kyoto! The parking spaces are limited. If you plan to visit the area make sure you come back to the hotel early in the day or you probably won’t be able to get a parking slot. Parking is included and no extra fee needed. There is no restaurant in the hotel and no hot springs.

Conveniently located. Easy parking. Clean and spacious room. Very comfortable bed, pillows, and comforter. If available, ask for a bay view room. Not much of a view for city view room. Community kitchen available so you can buy food to heat up. Coin operated laundry also available. There should be a Fairfield stay in your trip so you don't have to sit for 2 hours in a laundrymat. Only complain is that the AC will shutoff once in a while, a little annoying.
