Valley of Witches Scenic Lookout — Attraction in Nagakute

To reach the Valley of Witches Scenic Lookout, you can either enjoy a peaceful walk uphill or take a scenic cable car ride. The walk offers lovely views and a chance to soak in the natural surroundings, but the cable car adds a fun, whimsical touch to the experience — especially great for families or those wanting to save energy. On the day I visited, the cable car ride was free, which was a pleasant and unexpected bonus.

At the top, you’re rewarded with a charming lookout area that offers panoramic views over the Valley of Witches, a beautifully crafted part of Ghibli Park inspired by the magical worlds of Studio Ghibli. The design and atmosphere instantly make you feel like you’ve stepped into a Ghibli film.

出入口はもののけの里横のネコバス乗り場の近くにあります。 平日は無料なので常にそこそこの人がいますが、大して待つことはないと思います。 展望台へ上がるルートは、坂道とスロープカーがあります。 坂道でもベビーカーくらいでしたらそこまでの急勾配ではなく、車椅子だとスロープカーの方がいいかなという感じです。 途中で階段かそのままスロープがありますが、どちらでも時間は変わらないかなと思います。 展望台はメリーゴーランド裏手辺りから景色が見えるため、ハウルの城などほぼ全体を俯瞰することができるので、行ったことがない人もある人も楽しめると思います。 しかしながら、展望台の正面と横が少ししか整備されていないため、他の景色は見ることができず、もうちょっと整備してもいいのではないかと思います。 そして、スロープカーも乗り場の鐘もなぜかモリゾーとキッコロのデザインでなぜ？と思いましたが、HP上ではジブリパークの一部ではなく、モリコロパークの一部になっていたので少し納得しましたが、統一感が少しないような気がします。 自分はジブリファンではないの...
