Wow. This place is far bigger than I thought.
When the staff said that it is impossible to finish this place in one day, I have to agree with her 100%.
If I were to include the amusement park and botanical gardens, I think I would need at least 3 whole days. I only had time for the zoo.
I went goo goo ga ga at the koala and spent the longest amount of time there because they were so cute, and there were so many of them with big bright eyes, instead of the usual sleepy faces I see in Australia Zoo. I felt like going inside and hugging one koala because because they are so irresistibly cute. 😍 Can I bring one home as a souvenir, please? 😁
This place is located in a very convenient location because it's only a stone's throw away from the MRT station.
I would say that this is a big plus because it reduces the amount of walking and subsequently feeling tired time.
I took a ride on the flamingo paddle boat because my child was really looking forward to it. And so was I. One of the nice things about this boat house is that there are many kinds of designs to choose from. had to hurry my child to stop hemming and hawing because time was running short and we had other places to go to. I would say that it's definitely worth the money because the lake is huge and the view is beautiful. I'm talking about the autumn leaves. BUT my knees were really tired after the ride...
But if two adults take turns, I think it will not be so tiring. For me, it was tiring because I was the one doing most of the paddling.
When we got off the boat, the owners were kind to let feed the gigantic koi. He even told us to put a finger in and swiggle it in the water and let the koi bite. Although he said it was not painful, I was too squeamish to try. Try it if you dare. Haha.
I also paid a nominal sum to go up the sky tower, and I think it's worth the view. So, if you have time, please come up and enjoy the scenery. There weren't that many people when I came and it was quiet, and it was nice to just sit there and relax.
Their chimpanzee indoor enclosure is the biggest I've ever seen. It has a bright and airy feel, not that I have ever...
Read moreIt was such a beautiful garden I went there with my cousins and her children. It was a public holiday and there are many people went there. We felt it since outside the entrance. Long car line up. There are 4 gates I saw from the leaflet. Many people coming but not so many car in the parking. Maybe because Japanese public transport is good.
For foreigners who do not have Japanese sim card, remember to download the map first because the place is huge and you will easily get lost.
First we let the kids to play in the amusement park, well the father accompanied them after we left to wander around. It is good that it was made together in one place. Let the kids play in the park and we wander around in the garden
I don’t like seeing animal in the cage so we spent just little time in the zoo. We enjoyed almost all of our time in the botanical garden. In the green house where we saw many tropical trees. They were took care nicely here. Never imagine that plants we have plenty in Indonesia will be seen in the green house. I now know the reason why many Japanese love Indonesia. Come, come to Indonesia. You can enjoy it everywhere. Our main intention was to enjoy the cherry blossom. We went up. In a quite a long way, we thought we were lost when we found a note saying +- ‘Spirit! You are close.’ Haha they know what we were thinking. It was not full blossom yet, we came a week too early and the roses are away from blooming. However we are so excited!
There is a brigde name Hanasono Bridge. Not know whether it has something to do with Javanese name? I also greeted by a Japanese Moslem. Masha Allah. So sweet. Did not expect that in Japan Found long rows of porcelain chairs. Reminded me my parents’ house and many Indonesians houses. We put the chair in the living room or porch. Here we found them out door.
Overall, all my family members enjoyed spending time there and if I go to Nagoya again, I will...
Read moreThis is unbeatable during hanami season. After leaving Mexico City's free zoo and botanical gardens I figured I wouldn't be able to give out anymore 5 star reviews for paid experiences. I was wrong...
This combo pack makes the San Diego Zoo feel like even more of a confusing experience for the price paid. Maybe it's an exchange rate thing, maybe it's about the number of animals, in the end I just don't know.
I made it clear in my last review that I was not a huge fan of animals in captivity, but being on an island made me feel less bad about it. It's not like this Japan is so big that a theoretical habit could exist for these animals somewhere else on the island.
I wasn't visiting the zoo, but the layout of the habits was so well done, I found myself stopping by to see some rare sights. In other zoos, the line to see koalas is so long that I've never actually seen a live one, so it was quite the experience.
The weather was cold so bears had climbed the trees to sleep in the sun and I think it could have been the cutest thing I've ever seen.
I also stopped by to see the giraffes, which were close to the front, but when feeding happens they eat right in front of you as the hanging baskets of food draw them towards visitors. Very smart placement.
I saw some other animals, but I was really there for cherry blossoms, and the botanical gardens didn't disappoint. The cherry blossoms, along with many other flowers, were in full bloom and everyone was enjoying themselves.
The garden section is way bigger than I imagined and I admit fatigue kicked in so I didn't even get to see everything I wanted.
The venue also includes a wedding hall that makes you look like you're a baller, a huge glass atrium, an observation deck, and a train that tours the park. As a visitor, you definitely get your money's...
