I hadn't spent much time in Hoshigaoka, so finding this cafe was exciting. The cafe is located on the fourth floor of a shopping complex. The outside provides a good view of the Hoshigaoka area, and it doubles as a nice place for people watching.
The interior of the cafe was well designed, showing that a lot of time and care has been put into the planning. The chairs and light fixtures were all unique. The music didn't play at an overwhelming level, so it was easy to have a conversation. There is Wi-Fi in case you want to work or take meetings in the cafe, like I did.
They have a great selection of food, sweets, and drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I got a cafe latte and a cheesecake, while my friend got an oat milk latte and the strawberry tart. I was pleased with the taste of latte, and the cheesecake was fantastic. I felt like the quantity and quality of the food, while both good, were a little pricey for what I received. However, factor in the atmosphere and the location and it's easy to see why it's one of the more expensive cafes in Nagoya.
The staff were all kind from the ordering to the payment.

Read moreTT is the definition of oshare cafe. It’s spacious, open plan, there are shelves with hand carved doodahs on them and there’s the ever present jazz soundtrack in the background. Staff are attentive. Clientele is almost exclusively young women. The food has aspirations of fine dining with very nice presentation and there are some obscure but pretty good craft beers on the menu. Between us we got through some sweet and sour chicken, some duck with roast veg (really good!), as well as some decent desserts including a mint cake and cheese cake. I went for a citrus-y beer which was really good. All in all, it’s a great place with good atmosphere and food. BUT, and you knew this was coming, it’s stupidly expensive. The small portion sizes don’t justify the high prices. The beer too is about double the price you’d pay elsewhere. If you don’t mind dropping a bit more money than you know you really should however, it’s...

I've recently tired of most restaurants in the Terrace so I was quite pleased to visit TT today for lunch. I ordered the karage lunch set and seasonal sakura ginger ale. Every bite was full of flavor. The staff were friendly. It was such an enjoyable experience overall. I...
