I would definitely come back, if only to chat more with the proprietor.
We happened to get there just as he was starting the fire in the morning, so he chatted with us at length about the history of the building and the area. Also sang a traditional song for us and demonstrated several traditional instruments from the area.
The house has been in his family for generations and he grew up in it. The upper floors are chock full of items his family used in their daily lives.
Very cool to see the internal structure of a designated national cultural treasure.
Note that the only heat is from the fire on the first floor and shoes are not allowed inside: wear warm socks in winter! Also, I am unsure whether the proprietor...
