県道より程近い、旧吉野川堤防沿いに所在する町立公園となります。

無料の専用駐車場は第一駐車場と第二駐車場が設けられ、空いている駐車スペースは見つけ易いです。

公園内には人口の小川が有り、桟橋や石垣等が美しく整備されていました。 又、一部のベンチや、堤防へ上がる階段も近年改修が施され景観も良く利用し易い環境となっています。 中でも、お子様向けの古くから伝わる遊びを記された数々のモニュメントは懐かしく、現代に受け継がれていました。

追記となりますが、こちらの公園は毎年恒例の「北島町ひょうたん夏祭り」の開催場所としても選定される事が有り、この日程期間中は公園駐車場が御利用頂けませんので予め御注意ください。尚、駐車場を御利用の際は、同町役場並びに周辺が臨時駐車場となり、おおよそ３００台程度が駐車可能で公園迄の往復間をシャ...
