Bokyonomisaki Park — Attraction in Nemuro

Bokyonomisaki Park is a must-visit spot in Nemuro, offering a beautiful mix of nature and history. As Japan’s easternmost park, it gives you stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and, on clear days, you can even catch sight of the disputed Northern Territories.

ここを訪ねると、当然だがあちこちに、北方領土関連の建物、石碑、標柱が目につく👏。

北方領土の返還は、島民はもとより、道民、国民の関心が高く、心からの願いなのだ👏。

私らも根室に短い年数であったが、籍を置いていたので、思い入れも強いのだ🆗。

その運動の象徴するためだろう「四島のかけ橋」がある。北方領土返還祈念シンボル像とある☺️。

さらに「希望の鐘」、「希望の道」も返還のシンボルであろう。さらに隣には、北方館や望郷の家があり、北方領土関連の資料や、パネルが展示されている☺️。

その中に過去訪ねてきた政治家らの額が飾られているコーナーがある。

戦後７６年経過して、過去には総理大臣を始め、外務大臣は変わる度に訪ね、政府の要職議員の関係者も、変わる度に北方領土視察と大義名分的に訪ねている😱。

しかし未だに何の解決も見いだしてはいないのだ。第一声が「しっかりと取り組んで参りたい」である😱。

ほとんどの政府高官含め、この言葉だけが置き土産なのだ😱。私もこの言葉を声をきいた経験者だ🆗。なんともはらただしい言葉...
