Kirifuri Falls — Attraction in Nikko

The walk to the waterfall wasn't easy with uneven stone walkways and stairs. Going up and down the hillside. But you can hear the water flowing as you continue on the path. A short walk leads to an observation deck where you might feel like you're floating in midair. Maybe October is crowded, but in mid-May, I had several minutes to myself at the overlook, listening to the rush of water and admiring the lush green scattered with wisteria flowers.

The viewing point may be far from the falls itself but that adds to the grandeur...

This one of the best waterfall in the area. There is no way to get close to the fall though. The autumn colors looks majestic. There is a trail of around 10 minutes or so.
