Hokkaido Lion Adventure — Attraction in Niseko

Overall, the snowmobile activity offers good value for money, except for the staff. We came as a family to enjoy our holiday in Niseko. However, our first impression was poor from the outset. We waited in heavy snow for our time slot, but no staff accommodated us, even though they saw us. They could have invited us to the fitting room. Additionally, a Japanese male staff member was extremely rude. While we were changing, he quietly urged our group to hurry up. During the practice session, he didn't pay much attention to ensure our comfort with riding the snowmobile, comparing to other snowmobile company. Walking pace snowmobile tour. Groups of 10 bikes to 1 guide. So if you're unlucky like my group, we got put together with 2 extremely slow riders who not only ride at a slow walking pace for the entire tour, they also stop midway while negotiating a turn causing everyone behind to also stop. In my case my snowmobile stopped on an embankment causing it to fall over. The guide should have checked their level of riding skill and placed the slowest ones in the back rather at the very front of the pack. I guess it's either lack of experience or simple not bothering about customer's experience.

I stumbled upon the website for Hokkaido Lion Adventure when looking for different activities around thr Niseko area and thought the activities looked fun and the prices were reasonable compared to other activities around the area. The website was in Japanese but as an English speaker it was still really easy to book and communication was great. The pick up service made it easy to access too!
