It says “Farmer’s Kitchen’” (in English)on the front of the restaurant , and has a very funny drawing of a satisfied farmer (or customer?) lying down with big belly, just like we felt after we left this restaurant! Totally recommend! We went there on a whim after visiting the onsen in Niseko and we ere so impressed. Everything was fabulous. We loved the quirky atmosphere, the funny inventions to call the lovely waitress (tambourine/ bicycle bell etc) and the easy menus written on the wall (all in English and Japanese with pictures), The waitress is super attentive and speaks English very well. Most of all we were tremendously impressed by the chefs cooking: We had lamb chops (perfectly cooked, tender meat, crisp around the bone, with delicious spices and taste out of this world), their signature salad (take a large one next time) Pasta with porcini (best fresh pasta I had in my life) , pizza margarita with pesto and basil leaves, potatoes in their skin, and then we kept on ordering more and more, like tapas, to try more of the chefs flavors: The beef meatballs , spiced just right with a fresh tomato onion dressing, the tuna avocado tartare and for desert the coffee panacotta. You can see our stacked up plates… Price-quality 10 out of 10 I full heartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Please can you move your restaurant to my home town 😉, so we can eat with you three times a week?

Without a doubt, one of the best meals of our lives. Such thoughtful service and communication. Nicely setup space. It was easy to relax and just have a good time. The meals are not over complicated, they stay true to the ingredients in a way that brings out their best and natural flavour (while also being cooked to perfection). This is what I wish more restaurants were like. Make sure to reserve in advance - and do not miss this if you’re in Niseko

I came across this quaint restaurant on my way to take the last train out of Niseko. I was pretty much cold and soaked from some downpour on the east of Mt. Yotei. The food and the hospitality of the amazing people at this restaurant is extraordinary. Thank you very much for your kindness! Get the V&V sausages here with some potatoes! 🥔
