北駐車場は20台駐車可能。住宅街の中から駐車場の看板が唐突にひょっこり。スピードを落とさないと駐車場出入り口を見失いますが、道路を一直線にずっと行った場所にも駐車場はあることはあります。本城山は76.2メートルの山で、駐車場から山頂までは210メートル、登頂までおよそ10分です。山頂までの長さはそんなにありませんが、一段一段の勾配がキツいです。しかし、それを補うように、山頂からの沼...

戦国時代には戸倉城という城があった場所です。 山道は急ですが、遊歩道が整備されているので10分程で登れます。途中に休憩できるベンチもありました。

山頂広場の展望台からは、富士山や町全体を見渡すことができます。 この日は中学生くらいの子供たちが集まって遊んでいました。穴場的なスポットかも知れません。
