Round 1 — Attraction in Osaka

Spent six hours here with my family and friends from Australia. I speak Japanese, but without me, my family would have struggled to get through the setup procedures. It was disappointing to see a real lack of support for English - Round 1 could really do more to attract a lot of foreign visitors. We have nothing like Round 1 back home in Australia so it was a real treat for us. Some facilities could do with renovating/modernising. Wish the staff would stop pestering me - I was approached about five times, being asked to download the Round 1 mobile phone app on each of my guests’ phones. This Round one has only one floor for prize games, but it's a massive area! I saw over 40+ machines just from the outside, looking in through the windows. Play with a rechargeable card system that can be refunded when you finish lor want to stop. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, which wasn't busy and very clean and tidy. There's 2-3 staff always present and running around helping visitors with prizes. I was lucky and won a Piplup plush with only 3 tries! That's about 300 yen. Really fun place with lots of great activities and sports you can play in the SPOTCHA area! Great for dates. I would definitely recommend finding a time that the place is almost empty, though, because it seemed like it gets crowded pretty easily. Lots of highschool kids.
