While the animals were incredibly adorable, and it was nice how close you can get to them, the enclosures and cage conditions were not very good. The enclosures were far too small for the animals and didn't include a lot of activities for them. A lot of the enclosures had no vegetation or anything. Just a metal cage with a bar to jump around on. They were all pacing around very anxiously the entire time. Even the ones that were stuck outside in the cold rain and snow. The only positive I could say is that it was free to go inside so thankfully you aren't contributing to it. But maybe if they did charge they could use the money to create much better areas for the animals to live in.
