Omiya Park is very suitable for people who want to experience nature in Omiya City. It is big park with a lot of amusement varieties like museum, playground, ice cream shop, shrine (there are approximately 7 shrines here, including 1 main shrine), zoo, japanese garden, stadium, river, small restaurants, etc. Omiya Park can be a place where you can relax in hours. I had the chance to go to the WabiSabi festival in Omiya Park on my last trip, and it was wonderful. The grounds are beautifully kept, and it's a wonderful feeling to be completely surrounded by nature while walking through. If you are in the area and have the chance to go to any festival or outdoor event here I would highly recommend it.
