The park has a nice assortment of playgrounds, ponds and cherry blossom viewing areas. The northern end of the park is undeniably beautiful during the cherry blossom season. Crowds amass in that northern part making it really hard for others to get around. From a runner's perspective though, the condition of the road is not ideal. There are cracks, holes, gaps and general unevenness in my parts on top of a number of inclines and declines. It really makes you wonder whether they actually hold a marathon here every year.
