Just do a hit and run of this place as I didn't have much time. Nice place to pay a visit. Pretty interesting garden and building. Didn't take the tour. Had a soft serve in the cafe and bought a cake from the souvenir shop. Just an advice, you can get "most" of the same stuff minus tax from the airport if you're an overseas visitor. Don't need to carry it all over the place. The only disadvantage is that you can't check them in when you get them at duty free. But you'll likely hand carry them anyway .

06/12/22 One of the famous cookies factories in Sapporo. Not only a museum but real factory producing cookies and layered cakes. Giving insights how cookies are made in an automated factory. Half day visit sufficient to cover the entire place.

The tour was a lot longer than I expected for 800 yen. They give you a chocolate cookie when you purchase a ticket. Lots of photo opportunities. Recently decorated for Christmas time.

Our first visit to Sapporo. We took the subway Tozai Line from Bus Center Mae Station. It was one of the attractions and you shouldn't miss it when visiting Sapporo.

We only purchased the entrance ticket, 800 yen per adult per entry, to visit the area. You can book a session here to experience chocolate making.

Attended the cookie workshop, which is more for fun, not for those hard core bakers. Good for chocolate lovers, and for shopping cookies!
