Be sure to grab a paper cup and plastic bag after paying- fill paper cup with water at faucet to left of strawberry field (the open air field on right side of house) to rinse your berries in, pluck strawberries by breaking off at stem, and place stem/crown into plastic bag and take it with you when leaving. It takes a few tries to figure out which are sweetest (not always are they the largest, ripest ones) but they are the best way to enjoy strawberries- straight off the plant. We had our fill, spoke to the owners (tried with our limited Japanese language skills), and enjoyed the experience. We paid ¥1800 for each adult and ¥1500 for kids, price was for all you can eat but no takeaway. The strawberries were huge and juicy, not to mention super sweet!
