宮城県仙台市の満勝寺は、伊達家の菩提寺であり、伊達家の始祖である伊達朝宗の菩提を弔うために創建され、ました。 満勝寺と伊達家の関係の詳細 ⦿創建 満勝寺は、鎌倉時代の１２８３年に伊達氏の始祖である伊達朝宗の菩提を弔うために福島県桑折町に創建されました。 ⦿伊達五山 室町時代には、満勝寺は伊達氏ゆかりの寺院として『伊達五山』に数えられました。 ⦿仙台への移転 江戸時代に入り、伊達政宗が仙台城を築城すると、仙台にも満喫が建立されました。その後現在地に移転したのは、１６６７年のことです。 ⦿北山五山 仙台に移転した満勝寺は、江戸時代には『北山五山』の一つとして伊達家ゆかりの寺院...

臨済宗のお寺で伊達家の菩提寺らしいので歴史はかなり古い。 仙台市の北部にあり周辺は寺町の風情で沢山のお寺が立ち並んでいます。基本的に一方通行の狭い道が多いので運転は要注意。 満勝寺は敷地内に入ると15台ほど停められる駐車場があります。 墓地は新しい区画はそこそこ整備されているものの昔からの区画は鋪装されておらず砂利道です。 宗派ごとの決まりごとに明るい人は少ないと思いますが、駐車場の隅にあるプレハブの建物で相談すると丁寧に教えてくれるので解らない事はまず聞いてみることをお勧めします。 臨済宗は御布施なども良心的な...
